The Multi-Course Reality of Modern Self-Taught Learning
Comprehensive subjects are rarely contained inside a single playlist. A modern Full-Stack Web Development roadmap, for instance, might consist of:
- Playlist 1: HTML & CSS Fundamentals (24 videos)
- Playlist 2: Modern JavaScript Deep-Dive (45 videos)
- Playlist 3: React & Next.js Masterclass (38 videos)
- Playlist 4: PostgreSQL & Backend APIs (29 videos)
Calculating each link individually and manually tallying hours and minutes in a spreadsheet is frustrating. That is why we engineered the Multiple Links / Compare engine.
How to Aggregate Up to 10 Playlists Simultaneously
- On CheckPlaylistLength.com, click the Multiple Links / Compare tab in the hero search box.
- Paste each playlist URL on its own line (you can include up to 10 distinct playlist or single video links).
- Click Calculate Combined.
Our server queries all playlists concurrently in parallel, deduplicating videos and computing:
- Cumulative Grand Duration: The total combined hours across all playlists combined.
- Aggregated Video Count: Total videos across all tracks.
- Multi-Speed Savings: How many hours you save on the entire multi-course roadmap at 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, and 2.0x.
- Unified Study Plan: One master schedule with a single target completion date across all courses.
Comparing Two Competing Courses Head-to-Head
When deciding between two creators covering the same topic, paste both links into the multi-input form. You can compare total running times, individual pacing, average video lengths, and content depth to choose the instructor that best suits your schedule.
